Originally founded in 1989 by German musicians Bertram Engel, Carl Carlton and Pascal Kravetz, the band started with adding Dutch friends and musicians Harry deWinter and Peter Bootsman (previously of New Adventures).
Soon German producer Dieter Dierks (Scorpions long time producer) took care of the band and their self-titled debut album, New Legend, got released on BMG in 1990. They enjoyed some minor success in the United States, followed by an American tour. In 1991, their second album, Deep Colors Bleed, was released with the same line-up.
After another tour and some promotional performances in the USA to gain more support from the industry, controversies showed up and lead to the decision to eject Peter Bootsman from the band. Robert Hart took his place and the band produced a third, eponymous album, often referred to as 3 (1993), again with Dieter Dierks. Amongst fans often considered as their best record, it never got released officially during the band's active time and the band split up in that same year.
Many of their songs later have been re-used for Peter Maffay or Carl Carlton and the Songdogs, especially many from their previously unreleased third record.
