Infusing a blend of neo-soul and alt-jazz influences, Melbourne-born singer Sunny Reyne’s warm, lush vocals inspire a distinctive and calming energy, emphasising the subtleties and nuances of groove and synth-laden beats.
In 2022, Sunny released her debut EP entitled RIght Now, written as an ode to the difficulty of staying present within a constantly shifting and chaotic world and the desire to quiet the mind in times of anxiety. Created in a remote collaboration with UK-based producer Lewis Moody (30/70, B-ahwe, Cherise), 'Right Now' is a collection of beautifully written, earthy neo-soul tracks, with songwriting sitting somewhere between Lianne La Havas and Little Dragon's grounded take on contemporary soul music.
