Auxiliadora Caballero - Escenas y Paisajes de Entresiglos (2023)

Auxiliadora Caballero studied piano at the Seville Higher Conservatory of Music, where she also studied organ under the tutelage of Andrés Cea Galán. She additionally took specialized courses and masterclasses taught by Jean Claude- Zehnder, Olivier Latry, Gerhard Gnann, Leo Van Doeslaar, Bine Katrine Bryndorf, Bernhard Haas, Pieter Dirksen, and Christophe Mantoux.

She has performed as a soloist, as a member of chamber music ensembles and orchestras in several national and international festivals, being of relevance the concerts played at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorim with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, St. Ignatius Basilica in Rome, St Peter in the Vatican, Ref. Kirche in Walchwil, Santa Cruz in Écija, Eutherpe Hall in León (Spain), and the performances at the Contemporary Music Season (Cimucc) and the Cultural Week of the University of Seville (Cicus).

Auxi is currently developing her professional activities in Zurich as an organist at St. Andreaskirche, Predigerkirche and Reformierte Kirche in Oberrieden. Simultaneously, she is perfecting her organ and piano skills under the mentorship of Els Biesemans (organ) and Prof. Karl-Andreas Kolly (piano).

Her piano repertoire includes works from Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Grieg, or Chopin, algonside interpretations of the Spanish works of Turina, Falla, Granados, and Albéniz. For organ, aside from her dedication to Bach's, Buxtehude's, or Muffat's works, she pays special attention to the dissemination of the iberian repertoire from XVI to XVIII centuries.

Currently, following her Masters thesis for the International University of Valencia, she is developing a research and recording project based on the works by the composer Eduardo Torres.
