Cahalen Morrison & Eli West is an American country-folk duo based in Seattle, Washington. Both Cahalen Morrison and Eli West also record their own albums.
Morrison and West came together as adults in Seattle at the encouragement of Bluegrass DJ and musician Kevin Brown, The musical relationship grew over the course of six months and they began touring as a duo in the spring of 2010.
For their 2010 album "The Holy Coming of the Storm", the pair worked with mandolinist Matt Flinne. At Aaron Youngberg’s Swingfingers studio, the three-day live tracking process included not only producer Matt on mandolin, tenor guitar and bouzouki, but also Eric Thorin on bass, Ryan Drickey on fiddle, and Aaron Youngberg, who engineered and played 3-finger banjo on one song.
Both Cahalen Morrison and Eli West also record their own albums.
