Ilaria Centorrino - Italian Influences for Organ (2023)

Ilaria Centorrino was born in Messina in 1998. She began studying the piano which she supported by studying the organ at the “A. Corelli ”Conservatory of Messina in 2013. Graduated with an evaluation of 110 \ 110, honors and honorable mention for her international career at the“ S. Giacomantonio ”of Cosenza with prof. Emanuele Cardi, currently attends the second year of the two-year period. In 2022 she carried out an internship at the University of Kansas (US) under the guidance of prof. James Higdon and Olivier Latry.

In addition to the concert activity carried out in Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, France and England, she has participated and won several competitions including: First Prize at the "Tisia" International Organ Competition in Palermo, Second Prize (first not awarded) and Special Prize " Franz Zanin "at the V International Organ Competition" Historical Organs of Lower Friuli ", Second Prize at the VI International Organ Competition" Elvira Di Renna Prize "in Faiano," XIII Prize of the Arts 2018 "organ section, Third prize at the" IX Miami International Organ Competition ", First Prize at the“ Fondazione Friuli ”International Organ Competition, Third Prize at the“ Sweelinck International Organ Competition ”in Amsterdam and First Prize at the VIII International Organ Competition“ Pierre De Manchicourt ”in Saint-Omer. She is been one of the six finalists of the "Elizabeth B. Stephens International Organ Competition" in Atlanta (Georgia, US).

In November 2018 her first CD was released for Urania Records dedicated to the Italian influence in Northern European organ music and in 2022 a disc dedicated to organ music for pedal only will be released. In October 2021 he played as a soloist with the ESMAE orchestra of Porto (Portugal) recording a piece by Frederico De Freitas which will be published shortly.
