This year, the bassist is back in great shape with her new album called Afro Bass Fusion.

Starting off with a bang with the introductory title track, the bassist summons numerous influences ranging from Nigerian afrobeat to rumba through highlife and makossa trends on the bewitching “Lady” as well as on “Emotion”, “Mario Ma Lettre A Yece” and so on.

With Afro Bass Fusion, Manou Gallo confirms his melodic and artistic qualities as it should be. Whether on “A 20 ans”, “Wodjoro Groove” and on “Réveille-toi Africa”, she succeeds in combining different rhythms through these unifying melodies which intoxicate us until the end with “Aliso” and “Roucascas”.
