Franki Ramos Sextet - Space Especies (2022)

Space Especies is born from the feeling of wanting to make music of author, current music of the great influences that are happening now, but without forgetting the jazz tradition that Franki has demonstrated with the passage of time being a professional musician since 18 years old.

The project has a trio base plus an electric guitar and a percussion set with flamenco cajon, gongs, Tibetan bowls...that is to say, music treated for a traditional sextet but without trumpet and adding the percussion to this beautiful formation which gives the project a great force, electricity, frenetic and elastic rhythms, and a powerful spirituality, added to the beautiful melodies and vertiginous rhythms that and vertiginous rhythms that follow one after the other during the performance.

The music of Space Especies is the echo of all the people and projects in which the saxophone has in which the saxophonist has participated and all the truths that the gurus he has had the good fortune to work with have shown him.
