On the occasion of the first album by Ensemble Éducation for the Scala Music label, the conductor Fernando Palomeque gathered around him the traveling companions from the early years of the ensemble. Creo – both “create” and “believe” – presents the young scene of musical creation, from Europe to Japan via Belgium and South Korea. He chose composers who follow in the footsteps of the spectral school but develop poetic universes tailor-made for the Ensemble Éducation. All works in this program were commissioned and created by the ensemble.
