The Screaming Jets are ready to unleash their highly anticipated new studio album "Professional Misconduct" following the success of their Top five album "All For One" 30th Anniversary Edition. Produced by Steve James, who’s played a pivotal role in shaping the band's sound over the years (producing their numerous Gold and Platinum hit albums), and mixed by the acclaimed Nick DiDia, known for his work with Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam, Springsteen and Powderfinger. The new album pays homage to the band's roots while showcasing their musical evolution. It’s a seamless blend of raw energy and refined craftsmanship that will captivate fans old and new. To support the release The Jets will embark on their massive "Professional Misconduct" national tour, covering metro and regional areas as well as appearing at numerous festivals across the country until the end of 2024.

It’s a good day for The Screaming Jets fans. Second Chance, their new single, is pretty different to Nothing To Lose. Where the first single from the band’s new album is an old-school rock and roll banger with a guitar solo to boot, Second Chance finds The Screaming Jets in ballad territory.

Vocalist Dave Gleeson brings his decades of experience fronting rock bands to a worn ballad that finds its protagonist trying again. Also featuring a tasteful guitar solo, it’s a mature song for The Screaming Jets in 2023.

The anthemic new single is “very introspective,” Gleeson revealed in a press release. “I came up with the lyric during Covid. It’s about those sliding-door moments, thinking about lost opportunities but, more importantly, thinking about new opportunities that might be on the horizon.”
