For this new musical adventure, Penelope Antena continues to surprise her audience while remaining moving. Much more minimalist and down-to-earth, she invites us into her secret garden strewn with pitfalls from the start with “Beautiful” and “Every Story Ever Told” where she abandons samples and lo-fi aesthetics for good. The interpretation is more majestic than ever, particularly on the most harmonious “Simone” and “Bonfire”.

With compositions led on the piano on “Molly” split into two distinct parts but also on “Bloom” and “Enough”, Penelope Antena continues to shine with her exceptional talent. It is by highlighting her introspective poetry and her interpretation that she succeeds in touching us with “Let Myself” and “Goodbye For Now” which will make this James & June a third album so enchanting and poignant to listen to.
