Zarugyan's captivating voice transcends boundaries, seamlessly weaving melodies from two different worlds. Her childhood, shaped by the whispers of the Atlantic and Armenian folk traditions, forms the basis of her genre-defying sound.

Zarougian's journey of introversion and self-expression began with children's shows and quiet moments of artistry. With a degree in art history, she found solace in colors and shapes while searching for her place in the creative cosmos.

The pilgrimage to Armenia enriched her musical canvas, filling her songs with pathos drawn from the ancient folk melodies of the country. In the US, Chicago became the backdrop for a new chapter as she mastered the acoustic guitar and honed her craft at the Old Town School of Folk Music.

From the open mics of Boston to the vibrant stages of Brooklyn, Zarugian's music resonated deeply right up until the pandemic pause. She recorded her soulful melodies using her unique vocal style. Her music, a sublime blend of country, folk and rock, delves into her Armenian heritage.
