With the debut of his new Italian group, the internationally renowned German pianist Christian Pabst expresses his passion for the sounds of the “south” and simultaneously writes a musical love letter to his adopted home Italy. This album is a step Ahead in the career of the virtuoso German pianist. After four records with exclusively original material, THE PALM TREE LINE marks the first time that Pabst interprets music of other composers. Furthermore, it’s the debut of his new Italian band that sees next to Francesco Pierotti on double-bass and Lorenzo Brilli on drums, two fantastic guest musicians: the singer Ilaria Forciniti and the accordionist Federico Gili.
