Katsumi Horii PROJECT's 2nd album released in 1987 is now available on CD with the latest remastered version and bonus tracks in 2023 under the supervision of Katsumi Horii, available only at Tower Records! Composer, arranger, producer, and producer of many TV, animation, commercials, movies, and stage productions, including music for the "Doraemon" movie series (1999-2005), NHK Galaxy TV novels and NHK TV series (morning drama), and "Gegege no Kitaro" (5th TV animation series). This is the second album by Katsumi Horii, an arranger, producer, and professor at the Tokyo College of Music, who has composed and produced music for TV, animation, commercials, movies, and stage productions, including the music for "Gegege Kitaro" (the fifth series of the TV anime).The album features many top-notch musicians, including Hiroyuki Namba (key), Yoshihiro Naruse (b), Hirokuni Korekata (g), and other future members of the Beast Kingdom, Kakuo Okamoto (ds), who also played in AB'S and Spectrum, Susumu Kazuhara (flh), Hidefumi Toki (sax), Masato Kawase (perc), and Nobuo Yagi (harp). This album features Kakuo Okamoto (ds) on drums and also makes extensive use of synths and programming rhythms, reflecting the atmosphere of the late 1980s and developing a catchy urban fusion sound.
