Cal Tjader - Last Bolero In Berkeley (2023) [Hi-Res]

A record released in 1973 by Cal Tjader, a American Latin Jazz vibraphonist, often described as the most successful non-Latino Latin musician. Featured on Last Bolero in Berkeley are covers of Jackson 5's "I Want You Back" and "Never Can Say Goodbye" with percussive breaks, as well as the rare groove track B3 "Curtain Call" featuring Pearl Bonney's vocals, all of which are solidly combined with the cool tone of the vibraphone. A great album full of nice Latin jazz/jazz funk with a deep pocket!
