Antemundane is the project of Laguna-based music producer and multi-instrumentalist Ivan Brosas. Brosas set out to make melodic yet off-kilter pop music in 2016. From there he continued to hone his songwriting and studio skills, effortlessly mutating from avant-garde auteur to psychedelic shapeshifting seducer and lo-fi rambler – and that’s barely scratching the surface.
Oblivion Shall Own Me is a trip towards uncertain destinations that articulates the absurdity. The 10-track album, with a title inspired by a dialogue from an Ingmar Bergman film, is an open-ended narrative that allows listeners to create a meaning for themselves. Brosas wrote and mixed the entire album, sewn together ultimately molding a bottomless pit.
