“An album like the autobiography of pianist Joo Hee-seong, in which the inner skills accumulated quietly over decades of performance flow out naturally like water.”
Regarding the reason why he has not released a single album despite winning numerous international competition awards and having performed as a professional performer on world stages such as London, Boston, and Berlin, pianist Joo Hee-seong, a professor at Seoul National University, said, “It was too difficult to release an album. “It was because I thought I was lacking a lot,” he says humbly. It is thanks to this humility of hers that her debut album, which should have been released a long time ago, is now being released to the world after so many years.

In particular, is a large piece with a grand scale, difficult techniques, and a variety of emotions, and the performance time is over 45 minutes. This song was written at a time when Beethoven had already lost his hearing. Just by looking at its length, you can guess how much effort Beethoven put into this song. In fact, many albums of Beethoven's and have already been released at home and abroad. Nevertheless, Joo Hee-seong's performance is still special. Anyone who has met pianist Joo Hee-seong in person would have had a similar impression of what kind of mentality and inner world she must have had, as she was always calm and serene. This album is truly an album in which pianist Joo Hee-seong's experience accumulated over decades as an artist and musician flows out naturally like water. As much as the sincerity and weight with which she decided to record her first album only after waiting for herself to become more perfect, in a word, it is an album that is “worth the wait.”
and contain all the emotions that humans can express through music, including comfort, warmth, and passion, and sometimes joy and sorrow that cannot be expressed even through tears. It may be a little difficult for first-time listeners, but let's enjoy the essence of Beethoven's music, which has the charm of becoming more immersive the more you listen to it.
