Davood Mohammadi was born in Shiraz, Iran on June 24, 1987. He developed interest in music from an early age. He began playing Tar, a traditional Iranian music instrument, along with guitar and piano when he was 10. He entered a music school at the age of 13 and gained experience in playing other Iranian and western instruments. By the time he graduated from high school, he was proficient in playing more than 16 instruments including percussions, keyboard and stringed instruments, and woodwinds. Then, he started creating his own music through songwriting and composing. Also, he began performing in front of an audience. His first professional performance, as the supervisor of the guitar players group of National Orchestra, occurred in 2002 on the stage of the World Peace Conference in front of a large audience including ambassadors of 82 countries. He moved to Tehran in 2009 to study music at Soore University and graduated in 2013. Meanwhile, he worked as a songwriter for some Iranian singers and composed soundtracks for several Iranian movies. A movie director he was working with discovered his talent in acting. From 2015 to 2017, he worked as an actor/stuntman and appeared in several movies. He migrated to Turkey in 2017 and started collaborating with Greek and Turkish musicians. He uses his talent in wood carving to create new music instruments including SENTIMENT, a major instrument used in his debut album VOID.
