Burning Body (Spanish: El cuerpo en llamas) is an upcoming Spanish crime television miniseries written by Laura Sarmiento and directed by Jorge Torregrossa [es] and Laura Mañá. It stars Úrsula Corberó, Quim Gutiérrez, and José Manuel Poga.
Aitor Etxebarria is a Spanish polymath composer and musician whose output combines electronic and acoustic instruments. An accomplished percussionist & pianist, Etxebarria has worked extensively within film and television with an impressive and expanding list of credits including scores for the hit Netflix series 'Intimidad' (2022) & the eatery anticipated 'El Cuerpo En Llamas' (2023), and an original score for the forthcoming Pedro Almodovar produced TV series 'Mentiras Pasajeras' (2023) In addition to his work as a film composer, Etxebarria has released a number of critically acclaimed records under the pseudonym El_Txef_A, and more recently under his own name. 2022 saw the World Premiere of Etxebarria's first full length symphonic piece, ‘Gernika 85’, created in collaboration with the three time Grammy award winning percussionist Evelyn Glennie, who was involved as main percussionist and co-writer of the percussion sheets. The symphonic work, commissioned for the 85th anniversary of the Gerbika bombings received it's premiere at the Euskalduna Palace inn Bilbao, and was performed by the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra & the Gaudeamus de Gernika choir as well as Glennie, and Etxebarria himself on piano and electronic instruments.
