In his latest release "Invisível Azul," Brazilian hip hop artist Xis presents a collection of fresh compositions. These tracks emerged from a challenge extended by local artist/producer André Abujamra to Xis. The challenge was for the São Paulo MC to delve back into the poetic essence of his hometown's streets and the global scene, crafting verses that echo the Black diaspora. This work arrives at a significant moment, commemorating 50 years of Hip Hop Culture in the Bronx and coinciding with the artist's own 50th birthday.
This project carries immense potential and relevance, helmed by a musician who has established himself as a touchstone in his genre. Xis has pioneered collaborations that span diverse musical styles, collaborating with musicians from Jazz, Rock, Drum n' Bass, Techno, Trap, House, MPB, and Samba realms.
