...How well Bosch can combine the large, universal dimensions of Anton Bruckner's symphonies into a coherent interpretation is proved by the now released box consisting of ten CDs with all the symphonies of the Austrian composer. This major project from Bosch's Aachen period has editorial value, because it also includes the rarely documented "Study Symphony" in F minor, as well as the "nullified / cancelled" symphony in D minor. In addition, the unfinished Symphony No. 8 was recorded here for the first time in the new edition of the final movement revised by Cohrs / Samale in 2006.
