Ciyo Brown - Can We Pretend ‘Vocal Excursions with a Tinge of Guitar‘ (2022) Hi-Res

Guitarist, Vocalist and Band Leader Ciyo Brown, presents his seventh Album to date, ‘Can We Pretend’. Carrying the mantra, “Vocal excursions with a Tinge of Guitar”, the Quartet featuring Larry Bartly – double bass, Sean Hargreaves – Grand piano and Pete Adam-Hill – drums will perform an eclectic range of original and re-interpreted classic songs taken from a wide palette of genres such us jazz, soul, reggae and pop.

This special occasion showcases Ciyo's vocal abilities in addition to his guitar playing skills, which have brought him much attention during an extensive career during which he has worked with the likes of Alex Webb' Cafe Society Swing, Paul Lee, Tony Memrelle, Carrol Thompson, Janet Kaye, Dennis Bovell, Loose Ends, Jo Harrop, Horace Andy, Billy Paul, Glen Jones, Melissa Morgan, Ronnie Laws and a whole host of other notables.

Tonight's show features an interesting and typically eclectic mix of musical themes - renditions of original and groove based Jazz, Pop, Reggae and Soul standards which have found their place onto Ciyo's new album "Can We Pretend".
