Casa das Máquinas is a Brazilian rock band founded in 1973 in the city of São Paulo.
They started their career under the name Os Novos Incríveis, touring the country. After changing their name, they were hired by the Som Livre label and released a self-titled album in 1974, with a diverse musical approach and in which they maintain a style close to Os Incríveis in most songs. The following year, after line-up changes, they released a second album, Lar de Maravilhas, which brings a musical orientation closer to progressive rock, but maintaining the theme of the lyrics. With new line-up changes, they released Casa de Rock, in 1976, with a simpler and more direct musical and lyrical approach, close to 70's hard rock. However, due to an incident involving two members of the band that occurred in September 1977, they were forced to end their career in April 1978. Almost three decades later, at the end of 2007, the group returned to the stage for sporadic presentations, as in the Psicodália Festival in 2008 and at the Virada Cultural Paulista in the same year. As of 2010, the band returns with a more regular concert schedule.
