Shutaro Matsui - STEPS OF THE BLUE (2023)

A new generation of trumpet players to create a new world has started! Debut album "STEPS OF THE BLUE" release commemorative live. In July 2023, young trumpeter Matsui Shutaro, who made his major debut with "STEPS OF THE BLUE", will perform a release commemorative live. He started playing the trumpet at the age of 9 and graduated from the Kunitachi College of Music majoring in jazz at the top of his class. He started playing while he was in school, and participated in the Blue Note Tokyo All-Star Jazz Orchestra and numerous support activities. Last year, he appeared in the live series of "From OZONE till Dawn", a project by Makoto Ozone and Misuzu Kamino, which introduced the next generation of musicians, and captivated the audience with a spectacular performance. Eijiro Nakagawa, who also participated in the recording of the debut album, Toshiya Nakabayashi, Shu Kanematsu, Shinpei Ogawa, and Kazuhiro Odagiri gathered for this performance. A new generation of trumpet players who inherit the history of jazz and create a new world that transcends genre barriers will finally start.
