Francis Linel (born Francis Giannelli on February 26, 1928 in Marseille, France; died August 16, 2022) was a French actor, singer, dancer, and leader of French revues.
Linel began his career in the early 1950s, appearing in a number of films, including Jouons le jeu (1952), Airs de France (1955), and The Wild Oat (1953). He also starred in a number of revues, including La Plume de Ma Tante (1953) and La Belle de Cadix (1958).
In the 1960s, Linel began to focus more on his singing career. He released a number of albums, including Paris, je t'aime (1966) and La Vie en rose (1967). He also toured extensively throughout France and Europe.
Linel continued to perform and record until his death in 2022. He was a popular and respected figure in French entertainment, and his death was mourned by fans and colleagues alike.
