"bonus" is a compendium of recordings by the musician Eckard Koltermann from the years 1990-2016.
The production includes four CDs and one LP with more than fifty musicians in 12 different formations.
It contains studio recordings and live recordings of concerts and festival performances.
The various CDs are divided according to the size of the formations, starting with solo recordings up to full formations (Collage 12, Orkest de Volharding) from the 90's, while the LP offers a summary of the pieces.
All compositions and some arrangements are by Eckard Koltermann, whose bass clarinet sound pervades the music and holds it together thematically in its diversity.
Well-known musicians such as Kent Carter, Willem van Manen, Lauren Newton, Barre Phillips, Kenny Wheeler, Theo Jörgensmann and many others take part in the various ensembles.
The recordings were selected from several hundred tracks by Eckard Koltermann and the sound engineer Wolfgang Bökelmann and digitally reworked.
