Aleksandra Słyż - Human Glory (2020)

Aleksandra Słyż’s debut album Human Glory is dual in nature. The poignant emotional experience generated using drone synthesizer parts (MG) that grow ever thicker, denser and more intense is interspersed with recordings created with the use of movement sensors (BG), which enable the sound recording of choreography. Słyż is not afraid to lead her listeners across meandering paths – starting from silence and elaborate fragments of sound design, up to massive, tectonic walls of sound. The precise compositional logic naturally overlaps with intuition, and the album’s narrative freely guides listeners from the microscale of the smallest particles of the world to epic cinematographic panoramas.
