Trio Metamorphis seals a minimalist composition and an obvious friendship with the release of the album 'A Ricumpensa'. Daniele di Bonaventura's bandoneon traces a sensitive path punctuated by the sensitive and delicate notes of the vibraphone and marimba of Philippe Biondi and Jean-Michel Giannelli.

Very visual, this album is a distant, aerial flight, which takes us into landscapes mixing the strange with the sweet melancholy of insularity, and brings us closer to unexpected lands, like those of the rising sun.

“I wanted this music to be modern and meaningful to everyone, with an impression of movement, like choreography,” says Philippe Biondi, artistic director, composer and performer.

Apart from all categories of genres, the pieces of A Ricumpensa enchant with a hybrid jazz, built like loops, in a gesture of eternal return, perhaps perpetuating the uninterrupted cycle of metamorphoses.
