Dubravko Vorih started his career with keyboardist Stanko Juzbašić's group Pro Futuro in 1976. They played jazz rock in the footsteps of Soft Machine and Chick Corea. Along with his jazz career, he increasingly turned to the rock and yu rock scene, so I became a member of Parni waljko, and very soon he formed the band Parlament with guitarist Zoko Cvetković and Dražen Scholz, with whom he recorded the albums Imena i legende and Everything is written in the stars. He left in 1983. to Ljubljana, where he collaborates with jazz musicians Ratko Divjak, Brac Doblekar, etc. In Zagreb, he plays with the legendary Stanley Clarke at a jazz festival where Clarke invites bass guitarists to join him.
After that, he went to Germany where he played in the group of Romanian trumpeter Nick Stefanescu in the group Nick Steven Clan, before heading to Cologne where he perfected playing jazz with guitarist Renato Rožić, drummer Kruno Levačić and saxophonist Saša Nestorović. Soon after, he became a member of Paul Lowe's group, keyboardist and producer, and played soul with the leading names of the Cologne scene. He returns to Croatia where he starts a new career. He founded Dubravko Vorih & New Tribe, in which Saša Nestorović, Matija Dedić, Zoran Jager and Kruno Levačić play. Releases the album Mr. Clean for Croatia Records (1999), and Live in Sax as Dubravko Vorih Quintet with Saša Nestorović, Darko Jurković, Matija Dedić and Kruno Levačić on which he plays jazz standards.
The third album Catwalk is released by the Public Open University, where Vorih works as a bass guitar course leader. Soon he gets an invitation to join the Prljavo kazalište gang. New Tribe is revived with keyboardist Jurica Leikauff from Prljavac and drummer Marko Rabatić, and the band is joined by tenor saxophonist Mario Bočić and guitarist Davor Čivrak. The fourth album Two Faces of Jazz and Soul with 19 tracks was released by Aquarius Records.
