To commemorate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, three Beethoven works conducted by Karajan are released on SA-CD for the first time. Egmont" and "Wellington's Victory" were recorded in January 1969, along with the overture collection. These two pieces are coupled with the "Grand Fugue" for string orchestra recorded in St. Moritz in August of the same year. The DSD master was produced at Emil Berliner Studios in Germany from the original Deutsche Grammophon master. Single layer. Japan original project.
