Bachbusters, released in 1986, was Don Dorsey’s first solo album, and was followed in 1988 by Beethoven or Bust. Both CDs met with great critical acclaim and topped the charts. The current CD is made up of previously unreleased recordings from both of the above-mentioned albums, as well as three new selections by Mozart and original compositions by Dorsey.

Included is music arranged by Dorsey for "The Festival of Festivals," the synthesized score for the 1982 opening of Disney’s EPCOT® Center in Florida. The music was used for the soundtrack of EPCOT’s Laser/Fireworks Lagoon Spectaculars from 1983 to 1987, and encompasses music from Bach and Handel to Wagner, Strauss, and Stravinsky.
