It took a handful of EPs for Lid Greyhound to make his way onto the current scene. The rock duo from the Grand-Ouest also managed to surprise us with their raw sound, which we find on their first long-format event entitled The Foam.

It is by combining the garage elements as well as the blues suspicions that Lid Greyhound intends to get out of the ordinary. Right from the start with "Learned To Drive", the French duo went into overdrive with their hard-hitting and authentic music, which redoubled their ambitions with "I Preferred The Foam" and "For The Crown".

With The Foam, Lid Greyhound walks unpretentiously in the footsteps of The Black Keys or The Black Box Revelation. You only have to judge the listening of the explosives "Some Old Show" and "Learned To Compromise" to realize the immeasurable talent of the French duo. Passed a "Devoid Of Meaning", the group astonishes and fascinates from start to finish with catchy and invigorating songs where we hardly come out unscathed.

The new music video, for the track I Preferred The Foam, is taken from the French rock duo’s upcoming debut album The Foam, which is scheduled to be released in May this year as a self-release.

Speaking about the track, the band comment, “It’s a track that sets up a heady and bewitching atmosphere. It reflects the altered nocturnal wanderings of this character, who can no longer get out and communicate. He faces paranoia, the supernatural, almost voodoo, which frightens him into isolation and self-sabotage. This is the intention of the clip, which follows this outsider running away from something he doesn’t understand and can’t control. The scum can then be interpreted as something natural, malleable, which we think we can accumulate and shape as we wish, but which always dissipates and returns in another form.”
