Vixens of Fall - Magick in the Chaos (2023)

A product of Queensland's Northern sugar cane fields, hot summers and cyclones, the Vixens of Fall are a reflection of their homeland. Sweet, hot and a little bit crazy! Originally from Cairns, now North Brisbane, Queensland based; the three sassy sisters Nina, Wren and Lulu established their grasp on the world and soon discovered their love and passion of Country Music and continue to make strides in the Australian Country Music Scene.

After reaching out to Multi award winning Country Music Queen and Mentor, Gina Jeffreys and Instrumentalist/ Producer extraordinaire, Rod McCormack (x3 CMAA Producer of the Year) in 2020, - The Vixens of Fall have built a beautiful synergy and magickal environment to find their new sound. Their writing team also includes three of Nashville’s amazing hit song writers -Templeton Thompson (Reba McEntire/Jo Dee Messina/Little Texas), Sam Gay (Deric Ruttan/Little Texas/Bryan White) and most recently, Sally Barris (Kathy Mattea/Martina McBride/Lee Ann Womack. Her song “Let The Wind Chase You”, recorded by Trisha Yearwood & Keith Urban) has joined the ranks.

Commencing this year with excitement and gratitude, Vixens of Fall had the privilege of performing on the Main Stage for the 2022 Opening Concert of the Tamworth Country Music Festival. With many more festival debuts this year, The Vixens are well on their way to a successful and abundant career. With appearances at Music In the Mulga, Anywhere Fest, Fresh Country Fest, Mount Isa Festival and The Gympie Music Muster; the Vixens of Fall calendar is filling up fast and becoming more and more exciting and full!

The Vixens of Fall have released x5 from 2020 - 2022 Top 10 Australian Country iTunes Chart hits, x3 of which reaching No.1. “The Long Game” No.1, “Break It Easy” No.3, “Scout’s Honour” No.1, “Crooked Crown” No.6 & “If You Don’t Want My Love” No.1.

Each single had many wonderful accolades that made them individually special and spectacular. All these amazing songs have been written with various formations of their ‘Music Family’ writing team. “The Long Game” was nominated for “Peer Voted APRA AMCOS Song of the Year 2021” and catapulted Vixens of Fall to new heights in Australian Country Music now having over 470,000 streams on Spotify. "Break It Easy” stayed in The Music Network chart for 5 consecutive weeks within the Top 5 and was added to Apple Music Playlists - Country Caffeine, New Music Daily, Aussie Country & Country Lovin’. “Scout’s Honour” is dedicated to Nina Vixens bundle of joy Scarlett (Scout) Maeve which debuted at No.1 on the iTunes Country Music charts. Initial idea by the amazing Gina Jeffreys (1991 Star Maker Winner/5x Golden Guitar Winner) and co-written with Rod McCormack (Gina Jeffreys, Lee Kernaghan, Paul Kelly, Beccy Cole, The McClymonts), Sam Gay and Templeton Thompson; this Parent’s promise to their child brought overwhelming emotion to every heart and continues to be played across the airwaves bringing a tear to the eye of many.

Lastly ending the year 2021 on a high with “Crooked Crown” released in September, The Vixens of Fall writing team penned the ultimate anthem of Kindness, Respect and Positivity that everyone needs to hear! Gaining a No.6 positioning on the Australian iTunes Country Charts, “Crooked Crown” found itself seeking the involvement of many of Australia’s Country Music/Radio talents for their #showusyacrown project. Artist and Radio Announcers such as Jane Denham, Gina Jeffreys, Max Jackson, Andrew Swift, Bryce Sainty, Darlinghurst and Tariana & Jharal from Triple A Murri 98.9fm Country Radio, just to name a few, were apart of the campaign to fix each others ‘Crown’ and spread the message of LOVE & KINDNESS like Glitter and Confetti.

Single releases for 2022 started with a bang! “If You Don’t Want My Love” went to No.1 on the Australian iTunes Country Chart and No.12 on the All Genres Chart. A song written off the back of a broken heart and broken relationship, boasts a confidence and an empowering message of self love. Added to full rotation on radio stations such as Triple M Country, ABC Country and iHeart Radio. “If You Don’t Want My Love” not only made full rotation on CMT Australia, but was also featured on CMT USA. Written alongside Rod McCormack, Sam Gay and Templeton Thompson, the single was added to the ‘Country Risers’ & ‘Aussie Country’ iTunes playlists and was hit #13 in the CountryTown Hot 50.

These three ladies have such a sassy disposition about them that you can’t help but be enchanted by the glowing smiles that draw you in and dance you through their playful but heartfelt songs. Songs that quite obviously come from a place of passion and experience and aim to connect deeply with their audience.

The Vixens promise that 2023 will be a new year of growth and amazing new songs to come! - They will ooze the country rock ethos that runs deep within the veins of Vixens of Fall.
