Pittsburgh-based artist Mark Jeffries began writing his own material once he realized that he didn’t want to sing Jesus songs in church anymore. Nothing against Jesus, of course. Just that after 30 years on Earth trying to please everybody and keep the peace, this wanna-be Son Of The House finally realized that enough was enough. Time to flip some tables of his own.
His 3rd full-length album, Slither, drops May 19th, 2023. Loosely inspired by city streets, subway tracks, sundresses, and sticky summer nights, it’s a downright religious experience.
