Susan Muranty is a multi-award winning singer-songwriter and artist whose passion for music has taken her a long way from her hometown of Sydney Australia. Honoured with awards from major songwriting competitions around the world, including the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA), the UK Songwriting Contest and the Great American Song Contest, Susan has worked with some amazing musicians including Grammy Award Winning Producer Bob Britt, UK boy band Five’s Ritchie Neville and multiple Golden Guitar Winning Producer Matt Fell.
Susan marvels at the journey that has brought her to this special place in her creative evolution. Success has given this multi-talented visual artist the chance to shine in an industry she clearly adores.
Zooming with her co-creators around the world from her light-filled studio in the hills of Sydney, Susan says the best thing about music, always, is the beautiful connections it weaves between people - which is why she finds singing her own songs such a privilege and “just so much fun”.
"I want to reach right into people's hearts and make them feel better just for a moment ... and get them thinking too. That's what I love so much about music ... you can really talk to the world while you sing, especially if you’re lucky enough to reach people on radio or a random playlist. It’s like jumping into someone’s kitchen or lounge room, throwing yourself on the sofa and having a great conversation with friends you haven't met yet."
