Greg Burk - And The Sea Am I (2023)

"And The Sea Am I" is a continuation of Greg Burk's solo piano recordings that find their inspiration from water: "Clean Spring" 2016 SteepleChase Records, "As A River" Tonos Records on 2019 and finally "And The Sea Am I" 2023. The American pianist's early life in Michigan, exploring its rivers, swimming in its lakes and crossing the awe inspiring Great Lakes, brought these majestic flowing waterways into the soul of the composer. Since 2004 Burk has lived close to the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in Italy. "And the Sea Am I" is a collection of musical reflections inspired by the seas.
