The Tribeca Tapes (2018)
Denmark's Music For Dreams continues to provide fine, off-kilter deep house by the truckload, and this new single from Drumpoet Community's Willie Graff and Darren Eboli is a lovely flash of sun-kissed dance music to bring the summer months in. "Love Flight" is an aptly dreamy wash of gentle house beats, while "First Light" expands further out into the ether. On the flip, "Second Sun" brings in a lush, warm bass that gets the groove on the funky side, leaving "Moon Tan" to bubble gently in a pool of tropical percussion jingles that could easily be left on repeat. Nice stuff from both label and artists!

The Tribeca Tapes 2 (2019)
Following on from 2018’s “Tribeca Tapes Part One” release, Willie Graff & his musical partner Darren Eboli deliver another fantastic 4 tracker on Copenhagen’s Music For Dreams Label.
Willie Graff splits his year between DJ residencies in New York and Ibiza (Pacha). In this second outing with studio partner Darren Eboli, the influence is, African, NY clubbing, World mixing Mediterranean and further afield. The duo finds its roots in the past, building a link between the soul of a song and the warmth of a melody then combining them with a contemporary sound.

The opener “All Is Bliss” sits at the pinnacle of the underground – A powerful, Balearic, disco influenced club track full of Spanish guitar, handclaps, club synths sounds like it was made for Dj Harvey’s “Mercury Rising” at Pikes in Ibiza.
“Ahimsa” is an outstanding track with funky breakbeat, weird Eastern samples, sneaking acid and Kraftwerk like arpeggios.
“La Sirena” is a balearic beach styled mid tempo chugger with chopped up breaks, deep sub-bass, Compass Point styled keys, whispering voices saying “Let Your Mind Be Free” .
If you are a Cafe Del Mar connoisseur and longing for that sunset moment “Bellatrix” does the trick featuring bits of Spanish Guitar, Flute, Oboe and floating warm pads creating that early 90ties vibe. Another winner from Willie and Darren - and hopefully an album soon ..

The Tribeca Tapes 3, Pt. 1 (2020
Willie Graff & Darren Eboli return with the first taste of their third installment of the Tribeca Tapes series for Music For Dreams. The concept is a NYC meets Ibiza thing, combining elements of these two historical forces in the genealogy of dance music. A blend that reflects the pair’s time spent immersed in either location, DJ’ing, dancing, sipping drinks by the pool.
This pt. 1 release is a three tracker, starting off with ‘Cami’, a folksy chill-out track that lends some lighter touches of Arthur Russell’s unassuming peculiarities. Then there’s ‘Lizard King’, a cooler and more dynamic tune that plugs deeper into the nervous system, the bouncy bassline subtly pulling your strings. The last track ‘Shadows’ sports a 70’s disco-inspired beat. Vivid strings, satin sheet sax and flirty flutework send sparks flying across the plucky electronics.

Signifying a marriage between the artists’ double residencies -- NYC and Ibiza -- the project has carved out a unique sound that seems to keep on
giving. With this fifth instalment, the duo presents four refined yet meandering cuts of sun-drenched electronica.
