José Javier Delgado - Off the record (2023)

As a creator, he has composed the soundtrack for more than 30 films, including 6 feature films, obtaining international recognition. As for concert music, he has released two albums for orchestra (Memoria de la Luz, Espiral). His music has been performed at different festivals such as the Úbeda International Music and Dance Festival. In 2021, he presents the show Olores Prohibidos for Violin, Piano and electronics. In 2023 he published his first record "Off the Record" interpreting his songs for piano and violin, recording vice clips between New York, London, Madrid and mastered by Pablo Pulido at Estudio Uno.

Winner of the 3rd Jerry Goldsmith International Award (2019) for his work for orchestra and choir “Vuela Alto” (2000 people on stage), as well as the Young Music Award for his career and various awards for his music in different audiovisual projects. In 2021 he was a candidate (not nominated) for the Latin Grammy for his orchestral work #NoQuestions,

His music and orchestrations have traveled, through festivals, recordings and performances through the Budapest Orchestra, Poland, Brazil, France, Miami, Los Angeles, Spain, through the Macedonia Philharmonic Orchestra, Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Krakow Orchestra, Royal Seville Orchestra, Spanish Radio Television Orchestra, among others.

He has worked as an orchestrator performing Concert Suites and recording the music of Money Heist, Vis a Vis and El Barco -all with original music by Iván M. Lacámara. He also for other creators and authors such as Fernando Velázquez, Teatro Soho de Málaga, David Bisbal, Amancio Prada, Juan C. Guevara, Manel Santisteban, Paco Ortega.

Trained at the Fran Liszt Academy in Budapest and in Vienna with Conrad Pope, he was the winner of the international music scholarship at the Antonio Gala Foundation. He currently combines his work as a teacher at the International University of La Rioja and at the Conservatorios Superiores de Andalucía while writing music for different productions and commissions between London, America and Spain.
