Antimaterial Worlds - Double Saturns Last Purification Exercises (2023)

Gaura-jīvana Dāsa, formerly known as Griffin Pyn, has built an artistic practice over the course of nearly two decades, releasing noise-saturated post-industrial music and relentlessly touring under his previous monikers Sewn Leather and Skull Katalog. His body of work in this period stretches from 2006 (when he was still a teenager) through a catalog of releases on labels including Hundebiss, Night People, American Tapes, and Ormolycka — before pausing for a seven year hiatus that began in 2016.


Chemical X now proudly presents Double Saturns Last Purification Exercises, the first album under the banner of his new project Antimaterial Worlds. Dāsa infuses his contemporary work with the life experience gained on his hiatus, during which he initiated into the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya Vaisnava spiritual lineage and went to school to study Ayurveda, in addition to training his body to compete in triathlons and ultramarathons. The music of Antimaterial Worlds bears the fruits of years spent in devotion to religious teachings and ascetic self-improvement, while concordantly pushing the fierce reality of his work to new heights of catharsis and intensity.
