∙ From 2008’s Gossip in the Grain through 2014’s Supernova, he had 3 consecutive albums peak at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.
∙ In 2011, God Willin’ & The Creek Don’t Rise won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album, and his alt-country ballad “Beg Steal or Borrow” was nominated for Song of the Year.
∙ Sawyer Fredericks, the 2015 winner of The Voice, performed LaMontagne’s “Please” in the finale, and his version became a Top 40 hit.
