Aïtone - Follow (2023) Hi-Res

We will long remember when Aïtone landed on the music scene a few years ago now. The musician had offered a first album released in 2018 which was very impressive in terms of mastery before taking a short break to better bounce back afterwards. Here it is back with its long-awaited successor called Follow.

Once again, Aïtone surprises with its well-presented musical influences on these eleven new electric titles. Smelling the 1990s with full nose, the former padawan of Fred Chichin drives the point home with the hard-hitting "Inner Child" which opens the ball before the striking "As Fire We Fall" and "Happy Thought" intervene in mid -way between Radiohead and The National.

What is certain is that his musical territories suit him perfectly in Aïtone. Whether on "We're The Same" or on "Nightmare", our host manages to develop an absolutely abundant artistic sensibility which never ceases to gain height with "Sail Away" and "Cold & Fever" before that "Set On Fire" reaches the heights. And that's what makes this Follow an honorable and successful sequel on all counts.
