Stanford Chamber Chorale - Aquilanti: Sacred Music (2015)

A celebration of the choral works of composer Giancarlo Aquilanti, who serves as Stanford University's Director of Theory. This collaboration between the Stanford Chamber Chorale and Philharmonia presents the new chamber orchestration of Mass: A Celebration of Life. Also featured is Aquilanti's elegant setting of Ubi Caritas, and his setting of the Magnificat. The 1st work is for soprano and tenor soloists, chorus and orchestra; the 2nd is for chorus unaccompanied, the 3rd is for SATB soloists, chorus, brass ensemble, and timpani.
