Véronique Fumet Béjars - Chopin / Brahms (2023)

Born in Angers in 1968, Véronique Fumet comes from a family of musicians – her great-grandfather D. V Fumet, organist and renowned composer was a disciple of César Franck. His grandfather Raphaël Fumet, a pupil of Vincent d'Indy, was also an organist and composer.
In this context, Véronique Fumet learned the piano very early. Graduated from the Conservatories of Angers and Le Mans, gold medal in piano and deciphering, she worked for several years with Pierre Sancan from 1983. At the same time, she took lessons from France Clidat at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris .
She joined the Cziffra foundation, she became a laureate and received the Cziffra prize (Zonta international).

Since then, she has performed regularly in Paris and in the provinces, also performing on the radio.
It is also thanks to her recordings, including CDs of works by Albeniz, Franck, Brahms, Chopin, Fumet, Fauré, Shymanowski as well as a series of live recordings — Debussy, Scriabine, Liszt, that she is noticed . She is recognized as a leading performer.
Her career favoring in-depth reflection on her art makes her a sought-after pianist for her interpretations.
