Micha Jesske - Smuk (2023)

Smuk takes you from "Hillary Step" to "Procrastinator" to "Holz" to "Arete". With each composition it tells its own story. The colorful music develops in the interplay of singing melodies and impressionistic harmonies. She also incorporates improvisation parts inspired by modern jazz. It is carried by a rhythmic network that is complex and at the same time moves hips to sway – or at least heads to bobble.
