Alice Lewis sort son premier album-concept sous la forme d’un conte musical qu’elle a élaboré avec David Herman. En s’inspirant de l’univers onirique de l’artiste-musicienne, le directeur artistique a imaginé une histoire qui a servi de cadre à la composition de chaque morceau. Au-delà de leur collaboration, le projet a mobilisé une famille pluridisciplinaire de talents. Parmi eux, la comédienne Anne Alvaro pose sa voix sur les textes de Judah Warsky. Avec l’aide du metteur en scène Yves Kuperberg, le duo va produire des vidéos narratives, ainsi qu’un show théâtral.
Artist-musician Alice Lewis releases her first concept album in the form of a musical tale she’s developed with artistic-director David Herman. Taking inspiration from Lewis’ dreamlike world, Herman has imagined a story that serves as the framework for the composition of each piece. As part of their collaboration, the duo have assembled a family of multidisciplinary talents. Among them, the actress Anne Alvaro has put her voice to the texts of Judah Warsky. And with the help of director Yves Kuperberg, Lewis and Herman will produce a series of narrative videos to accompany the songs, as well as a theatrical show.
