At the beginning of her career, Kinert's music was a mixture of country, blues, folk and pop. Today it is more pop and synth and drum based music.
Her first album, Heartbreaktown, was released in 2004 by Sony Music. The debut album was followed by the EP Visitor (2005), as well as the albums Let There Be Love (2005) and Pets & Friends (2008). The latter was released on the own company Another Records AB.
For a few years, she has toured with and played on her friend Ane Brun's records. In the spring of 2009, she was a band and backup on Grammy winner Anna Ternheim's tour in Sweden.
Nowadays she tours under her own name. The biggest successes have been outside her home country of Sweden, although she is also fairly well known in Sweden among a narrower, more indie-oriented audience. In the Netherlands, her song "Beast" was frequently played on the radio in 2008.
The album Red Leader Dream (2010) differs from the previous ones by a greater expression. It is also completely self-produced, unlike the previous ones. The theme is a space epic - inspired by the Star Wars series.
