Spiros Deligiannopoulos - Piano Works (2023)

This is the debut work of the composer and professor of the Ionian University Spyros Deligiannopoulos. It consists of works for solo piano that contain memories from the period when the composer was writing arrangements on the work of Manos Hadjidakis.

As a whole, the works on the Piano Works album are characterized by innovative harmony, transcendental virtuosity and melodic climaxes. First composition, Court of Miracles, which is finally being recorded. A piece that Irida 036 cover 500×500 became independent from the show and "follows the fate of a succus", as its creator says. In fact, it is played on YouTube channels that ignore the name of the composer and Iakovos Campanellis.

In the Piano Works album we will also find the Five Ionian Nocturnes, performed by him, written between 2003 and 2010, as well as the Six Preludes for Piano, performed by the pianist Angelika Papanikolaou.

La Lune Brille Pour Nous is a piece of the quarantine period, which acquired a title in unison with Mariza Argyriou's intended first performer. The 2016 Reminisences, for the theme concert of the Union of Greek Musicians Manos Inspires, was written at the prompting of the unforgettable conductor and composer Theodoros Antonios.
