Bringing his new album “Retrospective” together with music lovers, Bogatay Köprülü will be performing his music consisting of his first solo piano works.

Saying "Music is a path without a beginning and an end" and taking on a special sense of responsibility as he feels the breath of great composers on his neck while playing, Köprülü is passionate and researching, pursuing traces of the ancient roots of harmony, that is, balance-ratio science, at the borders of both esoteric and scientific thought. a musician. He composed piano and then cello concertos in 2018 and 2021. His works were broadcast on various radios from TRT Radio-3 to San Francisco Community Radio in Turkey and abroad.

Köprülü; In 2016, Prof. Dr. He completed his composition studies with Tolga Zafer Özdemir, and then pianist Prof. He worked privately with Vassilia Efstathiadou. He took part in many master classes, including Croatia, Crete and Bodrum - Gümüşlük. State Artist pianist Gülsin Onay, Prof. He has worked with important names such as Konstanze Eickhorst and pianist Francesco Libetta. He studied at Istanbul University State Conservatory, Saint Joseph French High School and Istanbul Bilgi University. He continued his studies in Germany and France from time to time.

In 2018, his Piano Concerto received an award at the 10th Eczacıbaşı National Composition Competition held in İzmir. In 2020, he began performing his own early solo piano works, blending them with the classical repertoire. Shortly after, he took part in the online opening concert of the Gümüşlük Classical Music Festival with his piece Impromptu. He composed a one-part sonata for the Galata Trio. He completed his Cello Concerto in 2021. In 2022, he wrote the music of the Marmara Quartet in the form of a short scherzo, called 7 composers - 7 regions, for the Mosaic project performed by Semplice Quartet within Gedik Sanat.
