Tom Yell - Today (2023)

Tom Yell is a singer/songwriter, musician and producer. Stylistically his music settles into the field of Alternative/Indie/Rock-Pop which also features electronic elements.
In his twenties he discovered music making for himself. Visiting a friend's house who spontaneously played Tom something on his electric guitar, Tom was astonished at how his friends‘ playing come intuitively out of the heart. This sparked a deep fascination in Tom which lasts to this day. Just creating music out of the blue, he also wanted to be able to do so and the love of making music was born!
After the first self-taught attempts on an acoustic guitar he later supplemented his skills on an electric guitar.
A year later Tom formed his first band as a singer and guitarist. This was followed by exciting (and educational) times with many live gigs and the collaboration of various musicians.
In the following years Tom also learnt to play a variety of instruments, recording techniques and production. He than began to write, arrange and produce complete songs.
One day he met an old acquaintance Timo in a bar who was now a producer and owner of the sound Studio.
Tom's demo songs impressed Timo so much that he offered to record 2 to 3 songs in his studio. The initial 2 to 3 songs became 14 songs and the first solo album was created.
Timo usually had time to produce Tom‘s songs with him on Mondays, it was clear that the album should be named: „mondays“.
