Lauded roots duo Madison Violet are poised to launch to the musical forefront Canada's growing singer/songwriter movement with their new record, 'The Good in Goodbye'. As the follow-up to their breakthrough success 'No Fool for Trying' (2009) the new record captures the growth and musical maturity of the duo who have mastered their own distinct take on iconic Americana-inspired up-tempo melodies, contrasted with breathtakingly sweeping and personal lyrics. The 11-song collection is an open diary of Brenley MacEachern and Lisa MacIsaac's lives as they have grown as musicians and friends. Penned entirely as a duo, the songs range from an exploration of the landscapes of their lives on the road, to yearning for the familiarity of home, each one brimming with a hopeful sentiment which comes from an emotional place anchored in contentment and peace. To capture the intimacy of 'The Good in Goodbye', Madison Violet returned to the studio with trusted friend and producer Les Cooper while bringing a collective of remarkable musicians into the fold, including Joel Stouffer (Dragonette) on drums, Adrian Lawryshyn (Andy Stochansky) on bass, and vocals from Ruth Moody (The Wailin' Jennys) and singer/songwriter Blair Packham.
