Alexandre Delange - Politicians Waltz (2023)

« Politicians Waltz » is the first step as a leader of the franco-argentinian pianist Alexandre Delange. Gathering together some jazz, flamenco and folk music, « Politicians Waltz » suggests a real initiatory journey based on a deep reflection on our contemporary society. Alexandre Delange’s artistic proposal is to merge a multitude of sounds and musical influences while maintaining an acoustic unity characterized by a continuous dialogue between the musicians. This musical odyssey, born on the island of Formentera, deals with various current hot topics such as politics, the media, war, borders… and offers the perfect mix between strength, sensitivity, rhythms and emotions.

The live band is a majestic quintet made up of the eminence of flamenco jazz Gautama del Campo (Alto and Soprano Saxophone), Joaquin « Cani » Huertas (Percussion), Jose Borjas (Double Bass) and Gabriel « Kathir » Gonzalez (Drums).
